Thank you from all of us at Island Dental!
We appreciate YOU, our loyal patient who have been kind enough to send your friends down to see us for their dental needs. As many of you know, we have a policy that allows patients instant access to our office whether they have dental pain, emergency, even just a question about a particular procedure. For example, “What do I do with the color of my front teeth before my wedding or class reunion?” Or, “What about the pain I have? I’m leaving on trip next week to go scuba diving!” Island Dental’s policy is simple: Patient always comes first! We will see you on the day you call. Period. Often within a couple of hours of when you call our office, we are here to serve and listen.
This year has been special in many ways. In witnessing the last days of my father’s life, I have been able to reflect not only on who he was—as a father and family man—but also as a friend to many, in and out of his medical practice. He was a farm boy who grew up in the Great Depression, a soldier in WWII, then a physician here in Torrance for 44 years. He left a lot of wisdom in my shirt pocket, where I find myself drawing from quite often. His life was about serving. Help those in need. Listen closely. Put thoughts to action.
Wishing all of you a blessed Holiday Season and Happy New Year to come!
Sincerely,
Dr. Chip Houske & my fantastic Island Dental staff
